Teaching Courses in Clinical Psychology
Association of Neuroscience together with the National Centre for Science and Technology and The Neuropsychology Laboratory of the Institute of Experimental, Clinical and Innovation Medicine of the Tbilisi State Medical University offers teaching courses in
1. Clinical Neuropsychology (theory, diagnostics and rehabilitation)
and
2. Clinical Psychotherapy
Courses are oriented on development of practical abilities of clinical psychologist and cover the following topics:
- Essentials of the Neuroscience - Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Temur Naneishvili
- Child Neurology - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor George Natriashvili
- Methods of Psychosynthesis (introduction) - Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Revaz Jorbenadze
- Basic aptitudes of psychotherapist. Techniques of the Neurolinguistic Programming, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Nondirective Psychotherapy. Child psychotherapy using Art Therapy - Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Nodar Sarjveladze
Psychotherapy methods will concern the treatment and remediation of the following: phobias, neurotic obsessive states, depression, aggression symptoms; personal refreshment of the patient.
- Clinical Neuropsychology (theory, diagnostics and rehabilitation) - Doctor of Biological Sciences, neuropsychologist Kate Inasaridze. The course program is elaborated with the participation of the leader of Human Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory of the University of Edinburgh, Professor S. Della Sala.
Courses can attend persons and students with education in psychology, educational field, medicine, art and humanitarian fields. Courses will begin from 20th of January, 2007.
Lectures will take place in the A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute, room 414, 12.00 am, Monday to Friday.
